These terms apply to your use of the Suburban Social Club website and to any interest-list signup or membership application you submit through it. By using this site you accept these terms. Suburban Social Club is based at 2025 Maria Street, Burlington, Ontario, L7R 0E9, and can be reached at hello@suburbansocialclub.com.

Suburban Social Club is in its community-building stage. Membership is not currently open for general purchase, and the benefits described on this site as planned, coming soon, or in a later phase are statements of intent, not commitments. Details, pricing, timing, venues, partners and programming may change.

Submitting the form on this site does not create a membership, reserve a place, or guarantee an invitation. Every applicant is reviewed and we may decline any application at our discretion.

If you are invited to join or attend, you agree to treat other members, guests, partners and venue staff with respect, to keep what is shared in confidence private, and not to use the club, its events or its member list to spam, solicit, recruit or sell without our written permission.

We may decline entry, cancel an event, or end a membership where conduct is inconsistent with these standards. Where a membership fee has been paid, any refund will be handled in line with the membership agreement provided at the time of purchase.

Club activities may include sport, fitness, travel and other physical activity. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk, you are responsible for judging whether an activity is appropriate for you, and you should get medical advice before starting anything strenuous. You are responsible for your own conduct and for any guest you bring.

Content on this site and anything shared at our workshops, dinners or events is general information and personal experience only. It is not legal, financial, tax, investment, medical or other professional advice, and no outcome or result is promised. Get your own advice before acting.

We may photograph or film at events to document the club. Where you prefer not to appear, tell us and we will keep you out of published material. Our name, logo, copy, photography and other materials belong to us and may not be copied or used commercially without permission.

Our application form and email are delivered through third-party providers, and this site may link to other websites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

The website is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Suburban Social Club and its founders are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this site, reliance on its content, or attendance at an event, and our total liability is limited to any amount you have paid to us in the preceding twelve months.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms as the club develops. The current version is always posted on this page with the date it last changed.
